Atlantic Canada is Going to get Wet

Posted by on Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Models are in a good agreement on the low that is tracking up the Eastern Seaboard.

The center of the low will track over Western New Brunswick. The heaviest rain of 20 to 40 mm is expected over southern Nova Scotia and Western New Brunswick.

From there the low will track across southern Labrador and bring some rain to Newfoundland and rain, snow, and mixed precipitation Labrador Thursday and Friday.

The low will also cause storm surge and waves. This will combine with the high tide and result in higher than normal water levels the Bay of Fundy near on Wednesday.
