The latter half of the weekend and into early next week Atlantic Canada may see a classic Fall nor'easter.

An area of low pressure will develop and track near the U.S. East Coast this weekend.

Rain will begin over southern Nova Scotia and eastern New Brunswick on Saturday and across western New Brunswick, either mixed precipitation or snow is likely.

Before morning on Sunday all of the Maritimes will be seeing precipitation of some kind.

Sunday morning the low will make it to Newfoundland bringing potentially a rain/snow mix to western sections and rain elsewhere.

Labrador will likely see some mixed precipitation across southern sections and snow for northern areas.
