An asteroid known as 2015 TB145 is about to whiz past earth on October 31.

The asteroid is 400 metres across and is travelling at 126 000 km/h. The asteroid is expected to pass within 490,000 kilometres of the Earth at 7:12 a.m. ET.

The asteroid  was only discovered less than two weeks ago. The flyby is close enough that it should provide some of the sharpest radar images of any asteroid this year.
