Igloo Lake Lodge in Labrador is holding on to winter.

The area remains encased in about 200 cm of snow.

Locals say that the areas hasn't seen so much snow so late in the season in 50 years.

The opening has been put on hold as the owners wait for the snow to melt. Ice has also damaged the plumbing.

They are still using snowmobiles to get supplies in preparation for the summer season.
