Arctic Air Grips the Prairies, Snow Squalls in Manitoba

Posted by on Tuesday, December 6, 2016

Bitterly cold air has invaded Alberta and Saskatchewan and it is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Over the next week at least daytime highs are expected to be in the minus high teens to minus twenties.

Meanwhile, in Manitoba, strong wind and blowing snow will continue on Wednesday. Cold air will push in also. This will aid in the development on snow squalls off Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba.

10 to 15 cm of accumulation is possible.
