Another System Eyes Atlantic Canada

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Friday, March 1, 2019

The next weather system of significance arrives in the Maritimes early on Monday and will make it to Newfoundland on Monday evening.

Precipitation will begin as snow over the Maritimes. Over Nova Scotia and eastern Prince Edward Island, snow will change to ice pellets and then rain.

Newfoundland will begin as snow and will change to freezing rain and then rain for central and eastern Newfoundland.

There will also be gusty winds.

It remains too early to provide forecast amounts. Keep checking back for updates.
