As Atlantic Canada cleans up from one storm, another is heading for the region.

This system will once again bring a complex mixture of adverse weather the the area.

On Thursday afternoon an area of low pressure will approach from the south and rain will commence across Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.

Rain will quickly become mixed with snow across New Brunswick. Rain will eventually change to snow across P.E.I..

By about midnight on Thursday night the low will begin to impact Newfoundland with snow for the west coast. Rain along the south coast and the Avalon Peninsula, and a mix of rain and snow in central.

Flurries or showers will linger on Saturday across Newfoundland.

Conditions will improve on Sunday.
