Another Sticky Day in Newfoundland

Posted by on Thursday, July 20, 2017

It will be another day of oppressive heat in Newfoundland.

For the past two days the province has been contending with an unusual bout of hot and sticky weather.

Many areas saw temperatures soar into the high 20's and low 30's in some areas. Humidex values got into the mid to high 30's.

Across the province today we will see showers with a risk of thunderstorms, particularly along the west coast and central. Any thunderstorms that do develop should be non-severe.

Humidity will continue through tomorrow, a cool-down is on the way on Saturday.
