It will be another cold morning in Ontario.

Cold temperatures will dip into the minus 20's in Southwestern and Northern Ontario.

Meanwhile an area of low pressure will combine with lake effect heavy snow over parts of the eastern shores of Lake Huron, and northeastern shores of Georgian Bay.

Areas northeast of Lake Ontario can expect about 5 cm of snow off the lake in some areas.

On Thursday extreme cold warnings are expected to expend southward to affect much of Southern Ontario.

Snows squalls will develop off of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay with blowing snow.

Snowfall amounts off of Lake Huron are expected to be in excess of 20 cm locally.
