An Interesting Hotel Stay

If you are looking for a different kind of hotel experience, you can always stay at The Inn at Rodanthe.

The Inn at Rodanthe, as it was named in the 2008 movie based on Nicholas Spark's popular novel, “Nights in Rodanthe,” starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane, is a beautiful oceanfront vacation rental located in the small Hatteras Island village of Rodanthe on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

The building sits surrounded by both ocean and sand.

In the spring of 2009, a couple from Newton, NC who were extreme fans of the movie, considered purchasing the Inn at Rodanthe and began making inquiries with the current owners and local government about how the home could be saved. On January 4, 2010, the couple purchased the Inn at Rodanthe and an oceanfront lot, only a short distance from the original site.
