Airline Bans Employees from Using Cannabis Off Duty

Some Air Canada employees will not be able to consume cannabis whether on or off duty.

The company will prohibit pilots, cabin crew, flight dispatchers and aircraft maintenance employees from using cannabis when it becomes legal on October 17, 2018.

 Air Canada said that the move it to ensure the safety of their customers.

Other employees will not be covered by the ban.
