Air quality continues to be an issue across the western half of Canada.

There are special air quality statements in effect for portions of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and northern Ontario.

Wildfire smoke is causing problems for most of western Canada.

Rain showers will help improve conditions in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

A northwesterly flow aloft is transporting smoke from forest fires in Alberta and BC into Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Exposure to smoke may affect your health.
