A Snowy Thursday for parts of the Prairies

Posted by on Wednesday, March 23, 2016

A strong low pressure system will develop over the Elbow Valley in Alberta. The low is expected to drift southeast and deliver snow over the southern Prairies with a risk of freezing rain.

Places such as Fort St John to Lloydminster may receive 5 to 10 cm of snow. Another band of 5 to 10 cm is possible from Virden to Nopiming Provincial Park, Manitoba on Thursday night.
