Posted by on Saturday, June 20, 2015
It will be a rainy Fathers day for the Maritimes and Quebec.

In Southern Quebec a moist and unstable airmass with heavy showers or thunderstorms will produce rainfall amounts possibly exceeding 40 millimetres.

In New Brunswick total rainfall amounts exceeding 50 millimetres are possible with this system before the rain tapers later on Monday.

For Prince Edward Island rain will continue Sunday night and into Monday as the low moves over Nova Scotia. 40-50 mm of rain is possible.

Nova Scotia rain will begin over Western Nova Scotia early Sunday afternoon and spread eastward. 50 mm is likely.

The low moves over Newfoundland Monday night. Currently it appears that Southern & Eastern sections of the Island may pick up about 30 mm.

We will have more on this on Sunday.
