70 Dead from Typhoon Mangkhut

As North American weather coverage is dominated by Florence, in Asia Typhoon Mangkhut is causing widespread damage.

So far the storm has killed 70 people.

As Mangkhut move from one place to the next in southeast Asia it is leaving a trail of destruction.

Over 2.4 million people have been evacuated from high-risk areas.

On Saturday Mangkhut struck the Philippines as a Category 5 storm.

From there Mangkhut slammed into southern China on Sunday.

Buildings were damaged, power was knocked out, and high-rise building were swaying in the severe weather. 

In Hong Kong the storm shattered windows on commercial skyscrapers.

Several landslides in the Philippines have been reported.
