7.3 Earthquake Shakes Lomas Peru

Just after 9:00 am local time this morning there was a 7.3 magnitude earthquake 25.4 km south-southeast of Lomas, Peru.

There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

There was minor material damage, including some collapsed roads.

No tsunami waves were observed on the nearest sea level. There is no longer a tsunami threat from this earthquake.
