7.2 Earthquake Rattles Mexico

A 7.2 Magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Mexico on Friday night.

The earthquake happened 53 km northeast of Pinotepa Nacional, Oaxaca, Mexico. It happened at 5:39 pm local time.
It happened at a depth of 24 km.

There was some minor damage reported, buildings shook and swayed. In Mexico City, tall buildings swayed for more than a minute/

There were no immediate reports of any deaths.
