68 Dead Following Landslides

Heavy rain have caused deadly landslides in southeast Bangladesh that has claimed the lives of 68 people.

Emergency crews have been frantically searching for survivors. Four soldiers were killed during the rescue effort.

Thousands of homes have been destroyed when large chunks of mud swept through villages.

Heavy rain began early Monday from a tropical depression.

There are still many areas cut off and have not been evaluated. Officials fear that the death toll could rise.
