66 Killed in Horrific Plane Crash

An Iranian plane has crashed in a mountainous area of southern Iran on Sunday.

The crash killed all 66 people on board.

It went down near Yasuj, 780 kilometres south of Tehran.

Conditions were foggy at the time. The plane crashed into Mount Dena.

The plane was from the Aseman Airlines Fleet. An airline headquartered in Tehran, Iran. It operates scheduled domestic passenger services and regional international services. Aseman is Iran's third-largest airline by active fleet size.

Authorities are investigating.
