6.8-Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Myanmar

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake has rocked parts of Myanmar.

The US Geological Survey says the quake struck 143 kilometers west of Meiktila.

There are no immediate reports of casualties.

Areas as far away as India and Thailand felt tremors.

It struck at a depth of 84.1 km.
