4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Near Red Deer

On Monday there was an earthquake west of Red Deer.

The 4.6 magnitude earthquake happened a 5:55 a.m. and was 19 kilometres west of Red Deer.

There are no reports of damage, and none would be expected.

The last time there was a 4.0 magnitude earthquake was back in 1997.

It was at a depth of just 1 km.
