35 People Sent to Hospital after being Struck by Lightning

Authorities in Germany confirm that 35 people had to be rushed to hospital after lightning struck a children's soccer match in the western portion of the country.

The injured include five adults and the remaining thirty was children. The referee suffered a cardiac arrest after being directly hit by lightning and had to be revived by onlookers and a doctor.

The area has been seeing widespread thunderstorms over the past coupe of days. Monday will be mostly cloudy with a couple of showers.
