34 people evacuated in Dawson Creek as Creek overflows

There has been heavy rain for northeastern British Columbia for several days now.

Rain began on Tuesday evening and continuing through Thursday evening.

Here is a summary of total rainfall amounts from Environment Canada as of 6 AM Thursday morning: 
Chetwynd: 129.6 mm
Lemoray: 114.0 mm
Dawson Creek: 105.6 mm
Link Creek: 75.4 mm
Braden Road: 91.5 mm
Mackenzie: 51.7 mm
Fort St. John: 55.8 mm

In Dawson Creek 34 people have been evacuated as Creek overflows its banks completely washing away the 15th Street bridge and submerged the 8th, 10th and 17th street bridges.
