A local landmark has been ruined by teenagers.

Brimham Rocks, located on Brimham Moor in North Yorkshire, England, are balancing rock formations.

The rocks stand at a height of nearly 30 feet in an area owned by the National Trust which is part of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The site was destroyed by vandalism. The vandalism caused a rock to fall from the top of one of the crags and damage the crag face.

Authorities are asking for help from the public to find out those responsible.

The rocks were over 320-million-years-old.
