3 Dead After Two Earthquakes Strike Indonesia

Two large earthquakes struck Indonesia on Sunday.

The first was a magnitude 6.0 that struck shortly after 1:00 am at a depth of 578 km.

It was centered 102.8 km north of Basira Satu, Indonesia.

The second was a magnitude 6.4 that happened at 6:47 am at a depth of 7 km.

That earthquake was centered 1.4 km southwest of Lelongken, Indonesia.

As a result of the earthquakes 3 people are dead.

The area is popular with tourists.
