27 People Rescued From River in Texas

27 people needed to be rescued from floodwaters in Ulvade County, Texas.

People were swept into the Neuces River which was 2 feet above flood stage.

The area has been suffering an extreme drought.

There were no serious injuries reported.

Estimated are that 275 mm of rain fell in the area, according to the National Weather Service.
