2017 Likely the Second Warmest on Record

While there is still a little over a month left to 2017, NASA says that 2017 is likely going to be the second warmest year on record.

NASA says that October was the second warmest in 137 years.

Over the past three years there has been a new record for warm global temperature's.

Only 2015 had a warmer October.

Records go as far back as 1880.

There were some areas that were colder, notably the northwest United States and southwest Canada, along with parts of eastern Russia.
