Another 1,100 people were forced to flee on Thursday from a wildfire in Kelowna.

The out-of-control blaze was only one kilometre from homes.

However, officials say cooler weather made a difference with fighting the fires.

The fire is 380-hectares in size.

As of Friday evening, no structures were damaged.

Environment Canada continues to warn of bad air quality.
